Software Licensing Specialist
Responsible for managing the Microsoft Software License Process and performing as a
Subject Matter Expert on Microsoft Software Licensing. The Software Licensing Specialist
must initiate and manage all phases of the software licensing process, conduct the software
license review engagement in a timely manner, resolve any discrepancies directly with the
client, distributor and the vendor. This process requires effective communication with
internal and external teams, clients, and the vendor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining a high level of Microsoft licensing expertise
• Manage and negotiate highly complex deals with various components
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with all extended teams; ensure
communication to leadership and across the software sales teams
• Leading discussions with external clients, distributors and vendors
• Conducting timely deal registrations
• Quoting and pricing support
• Tracking and monitoring new vendor incentive programs
• Maintaining relevant sales certifications
Requirements:
• At least one year experience in Microsoft licensing, contracts and pricing
• English proficiency level (C1) is mandatory
• Experience in configuring Microsoft Dynamics solutions is a definite advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent time management skills
• German will be considered as an advantage.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage complex customer relationships
• Expertise in professional negotiations with software products
