On behalf of one of our clients we are looking for Senior Customer Insight Analyst to join their team.


What you will be doing:


  •  Identify key touchpoints in a customer’s interaction with our brand, products and services, which may help to identify triggers for churn, drop offs in transactions and adverse customer experiences.
      • Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging business problems, using the most appropriate statistical and analytical techniques.
      • Design, develop and deliver data science solutions from roadmap development to implementation, working across a variety of sources in order to better inform business decision making. Drive product cross sell and increase engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
      • Ensure any statistical models built are robust, statistically sound and fully productionable. Alongside accompany documentation that helps to embed a data led approach to decision making across the business, promoting self-service where possible.
      • Continuously seek to improve data quality, capture and understanding, collaborate with Data Management to ensure the data warehouse is fit for purpose.
      • Drive the application of appropriate tests, utilising suitable tracking and KPI measurement methodology to continually learn and improve our understanding of the customer.
      • Work In partnership with Insight colleagues to ensure we deploy a holistic approach to lifecycle communications throughout all customer touchpoints and life-stages.
      • Collaborate with Risk and Compliance stakeholders to ensure the business adopts an insight driven approach to the risk reward trade-off, when implementing customer strategy.
      • Work with the Account Management team to ensure a merchant focus is applied to insight. Maximising the opportunity to share knowledge, collaborate on campaigns and work towards the same customer goals.


      Requirements:

      • 3+ years’ experience in a similar analytical role, able to demonstrate the application of data insights into a B2C environment to drive product and marketing strategy
      • In industry experience of developing and productionising statistical/ML models with one of R, Python or SPSS (Clustering, NLP. Propensity modelling)
      • Degree educated, ideally in a subject with significant Mathematical/Computer Science element
      • Comfortable working with multiple technologies to deliver analytical solutions and insights.
      • Must have experience working with large, complex, and diverse datasets
      • Advanced SQL; Hands-on experience of writing complex queries in SQL (e.g. PL/SQL, MS SQL Server, Snowflake)
      • Strong Excel skills
      • Experience using Tableau/PowerPoint or other similar platforms for the creation of presentations and data visualisations
      • Ability to convey complex ideas/problems/subjects in a clear and concise manner
      • Experience of influencing stakeholders to adopt data-driven recommendations
      • Naturally inquisitive, a passion for working with data and able to “tell the story”
      • Knowledge of payments, ecommerce, digital content and/or gambling markets desirable
