On behalf of one of our clients, we are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team.


Responsibilities:
Support business challenges and opportunities and set up initiatives to deliver solutions.
Support project stakeholders/ product owners with preparation of business cases, plans and
budgets as necessary to align with and support achievement of the overall project objectives.
Cultivate teamwork through leadership and fill project management knowledge or skills gaps on
project teams where needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with workstream leads,
product owners, and all stakeholders to drive transparency of workloads, financial,
commitments, and expectations.
Maintain and monitor project related data. Manage resources, risks, issues and develop action
plans to ensure project commitments are on track. Analyze, forecast and report budget
adherence and earned value.
Improve project governance in the organization.
Support the organization in influencing and driving the change agenda and the cultural
evolution while stressing the importance of developing new ways of working, supporting
decision making with data and optimizing processes.


Requirements:
Strong experience in scaled agile project management.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate to multiple levels within
company. Articulate, authentic and credible, with flexibility of approach to respond to
changing strategies and tactics.
Experience within international Financial Services with solid understanding of financial
services organizations and dynamics; demonstrated ability to function within a
multi stakeholder and matrix management environment.
Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders to develop business cases and
perform effective communication and alignment between multiple parties.
An independent working style and the will and strength of character to ensure plans
are implemented in full. Strengths in problem-solving, issue resolution, ability to work
in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Ability to engage internal stakeholders across several different functional and
geographical areas in a virtual international team setting
Very strong verbal and written skills, as well as high level of interpersonal skill.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills (fluency required).
Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to enhance process improvement
capabilities, knowledge of scaled processing and quality control; the administrative
back-office, and process improvement and controls environment.
Positive impact performs in a manner that makes a strong positive impression on
others, e.g., high energy level, a problem-solving approach, approachable; and the
ability to act with a sense of urgency when required.


Qualifications:
Degree level qualification.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a Project Management role in organizations of
equivalent size and complexity. Agile Program Management experience, preferably
with a recognized qualification
A minimum of 5-10 years experience in a technical industry / environment such as financial
services. Insurance experience would be an advantage.
Should be proficient with recognized project management software.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple globally dispersed individuals and
disciplines. Must possess the ability to influence others without direct authority.
Ability to travel internationally to engage with colleagues when required
