On behalf of one of our clients we are looking for Accounts Payable Team Lead to join their team.

What you will be doing:

  • Effectively manage and provide day-to-day leadership to approximately 5-6 team members
  • Responsible for processing timely and accurately payment files in accordance with company policies and sox controls
  • Ensure proper authorization before processing any payment
  • Responsible for timely and accurately banks reconciliation
  • Supporting Treasury team with comparing banks’ deals
  • Ensure proper accounting of Intercompany payments
  • Accountable for all assigned Balance sheet accounts
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive, robust, and relevant set of training materials
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders (invoice processing teams, divisional controlling teams, reporting teams) on audit queries and other matters

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Procure-to-Pay role
  • 3+ years of experience managing team members
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • ACCA qualification would be advantage
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with ERP and Blackline reconciliation tool will be considered an advantage
  • Analytical; solves problems at root cause and prioritizes effectively
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills.
