Product Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our client's team in Sofia, which is a leading international provider of innovative automotive lighting solutions.
The role of Product Security Engineer is responsible for the inclusion of quality-capable suppliers in the supplier pool, ensuring their expected quality performance, as well as the structured support of any action program that may be required by the suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement of the cybersecurity process
- Inform the line manager in case of new findings concerning cybersecurity
- Contact person within the project team for all cybersecurity issues
- Documentation of lessons learned and best practices
- Planning and coordination of cybersecurity activities in the development phase of the project lifecycle
- Point out project risks concerning cybersecurity
- Continuous improvement of cybersecurity document templates and processes
- Writing of cybersecurity statements to clarify the Zl<:N point of view
- Review and assess ZKW and Tier2 cybersecurity documentation (at the supplier site)
- Central contact for cybersecurity in the project (internal, customer, supplier)
- Moderation of meetings to work on cybersecurity requirements
- Definition of methods and tools to be used in the project
- Planning and coordination of cybersecurity-related reviews, audits, and assessments in the project
- Tracking of cybersecurity issues in the project
- Participation in change management (if applicable)
- Participation in RFQs (if applicable)
- Report to Project Manager/Program Manager and/or Project Owner
- Report to GM Functional Safety & Cybersecurity Engineering and/or Regional Lead
- Attendance of working groups and conferences to ensure state-of-the-art cybersecurity processes
- Approve/reject cybersecurity work products
- Management and delegation of cybersecurity tasks in the project in coordination with the Project Manager
Requirements:
- Knowledge about product development processes
- Good understanding of the system (product)
- Knowledge of quality management
- Knowledge of cybersecurity management methods (e.g. TARA)
- Advanced English skills
- Established knowledge regarding automotive relevant cybersecurity standards (ISO 21434)
