Group Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our client's team in Sofia - a Leading international provider of innovative automotive lighting solutions.

The role Group Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the inclusion of quality-capable suppliers in the supplier pool, ensuring their expected quality performance, as well as the structured support of any action program that may be required by the suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementation of system audits as part of the initial supplier assessment or the release of new production sites from existing suppliers.
  • Supplier Development
  • Creation of audit reports
  • Identification of improvement potentials
  • Plausibility check of improvement programs
  • Supporting suppliers in implementing improvement measures.
  • Conducting effectiveness reviews
  • Identifcation of development needs
  • Planning and implementation of development programs for new suppliers up to the award of the contract and beyond.
  • Planning and implementation of development programs of existing suppliers certified according to ISO-9001 towards minimum automotive requirements or IATF 16949.
  • Supporting suppliers in implementing development measures.
  • Conducting effectiveness reviews.
  • Lead of an escalation team in case of a Level2 supplier escalation.
  • Definition of focus topics
  • Definition of criteria for de-escalation.
  • Carrying out situation analyses.
  • Definition of remedial measures.
  • Accompanying and monitoring the implementation of measures at suppliers.
  • Decision regarding the fulfillment of the agreed criteria for de-escalation.
  • Ongoing monitoring of the supplier evaluation in the event of an escalation
  • Support of the PQP-SA function when conducting process audits according to VDA6.3 if necessary.
  • Training and supervision of the PQP-SA.


Requirements:

  • Technical education (university / University of Applied Sciences / Higher Technical School)
  • min. 5 years experience in quality management of a manufacturing company
  • Certified System manager Quality
  • Certified Lead Auditor Quality management systems
  • Certified EOQ Lead Auditor (or similar)
  • Certified process auditor VDA6.3 (current version)
  • Very good methodological skills regarding Q tools, advance quality planning and project management
  • Solid technical understanding
  • Mobility/willingness to travel
