On behalf of one of our clients we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

General

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Good command of written and verbal English
• Knowledge and Technical Skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with GCP (GCP Professional Certified Architect preferred)
• A minimum of 4 years of implementing and managing Kubernetes experience
• Expert level knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or other languages
• Experience with Terraform
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Extensive experience working with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement and manage scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines
• Work with development teams to ensure the quality and reliability of the software, and to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Design and implement highly available and scalable solutions using GCP services
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters and containers in production environments
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of the infrastructure
• Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the stability of the infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective software delivery
• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve processes and infrastructure
• Report and manage GCP cost
