On behalf of one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Java Team Lead to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of mixed skillset software professionals (Java, React, and QA)

Distill and clarify product and engineering requirements to your team members.

Design, develop, and maintain micro-services and applications using Java technologies.

Collaborate with local and global cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other developers, to analyze, design, and implement new features and functionality.

Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with industry best practices.

Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues as they arise.

Participate, lead, or drive Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and track delivery.

Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science / Data Science / Software Engineering

At least 7 years of experience developing code in Java and Java Spring, or similar

Experience in leading teams

Proven experience in designing and developing high-quality, scalable software applications.

Strong knowledge of Java and related technologies (Spring, etc.).

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Fluent in English and Bulgarian, both spoken and written.
