Testing Support Engineer (Electronics)

On behalf of one of our clients - a product company that specializes in the IoT sector, we are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer (Electronics), to join their team:

As a Technical Support Engineer (Electronics) you will be responsible for handling customers` requests and resolving cases pertaining mainly to technical issues. A shift-work schedule is applied.
The Engineer collaborates closely with the Product Development, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Manufacturing departments. The role reports directly to the Customer Support Manager.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification technical background or electronics;
- Experience in the field of Technical Support;
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English, as well as strong interpersonal skills;
- Outstanding attention to detail, focus on accuracy, and analytical approach.

Responsibilities:
- Handles customer requests via e-mail, phone, or chat ensuring that the customer is attended to promptly and that requests are captured accurately;
- Provides technical assistance to security professionals in the areas of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for both hardware and software solutions;
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems, and drives resolution of customer issues from the initial contact to case closure;
- Documents cases and key takeaways and contributes to the development of an internal knowledge base to improve our customer service and problem management processes;
- Tests and evaluates pre-released devices developed by M2M Services.
