What you will be doing:

• Lead a team of accountants, overseeing operations.
• Conduct all necessary training to keep the accounting teams skills and knowledge current.
• Plan, control, and implement the annual budgeting process.
• Supervise the preparation of profit and cash flow forecasts, analyses, and reports.
• Supervise the preparation of quarterly management and year-end accounts.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and accounts ensuring they are produced on a timely basis (including KPI reports, budget, variance analysis, statistical data, and trends).
• Coordinate between the different sections within the Department to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), and other necessary reports and consolidate financial statements of all company's subsidieries.
• Plan and control costs effectively and ensure sufficient liquidity for the company's operations.
• Analyze financial indicators to assess performance and identify potential problems and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and prepare documentation for tax audits.
• Conduct accounting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Act as a reliable finance partner to senior management teams and subsidiary finance teams.
• Provide reliable and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare forecasts and analyses to guide strategic planning.
• Evaluate investment projects for potential returns.
• Develop financial development strategies to drive growth.
• Ensure that all necessary documents are always requested, collected, and compiled on time.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensures compliance with the Orders policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all international and local regulations.
• Ensure all accounting tasks and transactions are completed on time.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Chief Accountant position, preferably within a supply chain company or international company.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of the Accounting Act, the National Accounting Standards (NAS), the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other regulations related to accounting.
• Experience in leading a team of accountants.
• Deep knowledge in the field of financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, and investment project evaluation.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems is required.
