On the behalf of one of our clients- leader in the fintech industry, we are looking to hire Manager Collections 2 years contract to join their team of professionals.

What you will be doing:

Manage the day-to-day activities of the Collection team, both operationally and from a personnel perspective;
Highlight and resolve gaps in current process, driving change and efficiencies to ensure function is fit for purpose;
Collection of debt whilst providing a proficient level of customer service over the phone/email;
Reconcile merchants outstanding balances and unapplied payments;
Maintain a credit control system including notes on debt follow up;
Proactively liaise with customers and other departments to resolve all queries;
Work with external partners in support of the collection process;
Produce management reports;
Advise and escalate problematic cases to senior management;
Ad hoc duties required by the Manager;

What we are looking for:
Strong English skills, both written and oral is essential;
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in collections;
A minimum of 1 years in a collections supervisory/management role;
You have experience of using business Credit Reference Agencies;
You are meticulous and possess great attention to detail;
You possess strong organizational, analytical and communication skills as well as great problem-solving and time management abilities;
You have the ability to work under pressure, independently or in a team;
You are self-motivated, diligent, resourceful, and can learn internal systems quickly;
You are highly proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and have prior experience working with advanced formulas and tools used for more complex analysis.
