Business analyst in data area

For one of our partners and their transformation project which involves rolling out compelling, innovative consumer propositions across all company branches we are looking for a Business Analyst (Data). From IT perspective transformation is supported by implementation of new core solutions and Microsoft Azure driven data platform. Initial releases are focused on delivering critical functionalities and data integration. Long term they plan to develop dedicated data function and data team.
The person we are looking for would contribute to abovementioned effort as business analyst in one of company's development teams.

Requirements:
Work closely with architect, developers and testers in agile team
Deliver solutions to meet the data and reporting needs
Collect and clarify business requirements
Analyze source systems (including databases and data structures)
Work with subject matter experts and development team to understand available data
Create documentation
Running the tests

Ideal candidate for the role:
Analytical and problem solving skills
At least 5 years of experience on a similar position
Insurance domain knowledge or financial/fintech background
Ability to understand data models through independent research
Great communication skills
Excellent English
Ability to write complex SQL queries
Good understanding of RDBMS concept
Mapping and data modelling skills

Strong assets:
Date warehousing and ETL experience
Experience with MS SQL and Oracle databases
Experience in Agile teams
