For a client of ours - an international bank with more than 1 700 employees and offices in Bulgaria, Greece, Germany and Romania we are looking for a Fintech Business Analyst.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive business analysis to identify and document business requirements for financial services applications, systems, and processes
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including business users, subject matter experts, and technology teams, to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements
  • Develop detailed user stories, use cases, and functional specifications for financial services applications, systems, and processes
  • Collaborate closely with technology teams to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements and align with the overall technology strategy
  • Provide guidance and support to business users during user acceptance testing (UAT) and production rollout phases
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices for financial services applications, systems, and processes
  • Participate actively in project planning and management activities, including estimating effort, defining scope, and monitoring progress
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, business leaders, and technology teams, to ensure that all parties are well-informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial services applications, systems, and processes, including fundamental financial reporting processes, risk management, and regulatory reporting
  • Familiarity with technology concepts, applications, and tools, such as Oracle ERP, Jedox, and basic SQL
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, and Jira
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex business problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results
  • Understanding of financial markets and products, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives, is a plus
