Test Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Test Plans creation and test equipment for the products respecting customer's specifications and the development rules;
Creation of test programs on C/C++ programming language , LabView or other test tools;
Perform DFMEA and risk analysis for all new products;
Work closely with Hardware, Software, Layout, Mechanical Engineers and Validation team to define requirements and ensure the test feasibility of the products;
Execute test directly the tests in the external test laboratories;
Review and analyze the results from the external test laboratories;
Verify/Validate developed products - Execute tests, document them, analyze the results and present them to the team and customers;
Create test reports in IBM Rational Rhapsody environment/IBM Rational Quality Manager or other test tools for the tested products;
Work closely with Advanced Buyers in order to choose the best fitting test requirements components and devices. Assuring proper functionality of the test setups with the choice of the optimal components;
Preparation for production of prototypes acquiring and arranging components, preparing and printing the accompanying documentation

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of design and development processes with specialty of Test design;
Excellent knowledge and usage of Labview, Vector, D-Space, C/C++;
Experience in Test plans creation and Test equipment creation;
Knowledge in EMI, EMC and ESD;
Knowledge in power electronics;
Basic Schematic capture and design of digital/analog circuits;
Basic knowledge of Mechanical design for test setups;
Familiar with related Test standard including the OEM related and IPC standards;
Knowledge of more than one Test tools;
Test Design to cost;
Good knowledge and usage of DOORS and/or other requirements management tool;
Knowledge in ISO 26262;
Good knowledge of IATF 16949;
Good computer skills (general purpose and specialized quality software);
Experience with calibration laboratories;
