ABOUT THE PROJECT

The goal of the project is to maintain and improve Infrastructure Bootstrapping for Cloud Foundry environment(s) on different Hyperscaler providers (AWS, Azure and GCP).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Development and delivery of new features, maintenance of infrastructure component(s) implemented in Bash scripting
• Responsible for Infrastructure bootstrapping topics in Cloud Foundry environment (BOSH and K8s-based) for the Business Technology Platform
  • Implementation of IaaS services and features to meet our needs
  • Implementation of improvements in the already existing infrastructure components (load balancers, routing services, NAT, jump hosts etc.) with focus on availability, reliability, scalability and more.
  • Troubleshooting of incidents related to infrastructure components
  • Working with different Hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, Azure) providers and managing specifics in their offering

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field​
• Hands on experience with Shell scripting development
• Proficiency in working with Linux or macOS operating systems
• Interested in network and routing topics
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP or AliCloud) and container technologies (e.g., Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes or Docker)
  • § Experience with SAP Cloud Platform will be considered a strong advantage
  • § Cloud Foundry API knowledge is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

1 + hands on experience with Bash automation and feature development

5 + years of experience in the areas of automation, operations

1+ year of experience working with IaaS providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
